Veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee died on Sunday after battling hard with multiple ailments. During his death he was aged 85. He left behind his wife, son and daughter, Soumitra Chatterjee was admitted to the hospital on October 6 after being tested positive for Coronavirus.
Although he had recovered from the infection, but was unstable and had suffered from multiple ailments, including neurological complications. Soumitra Chatterjee had worked in various films like Ashani Sanket, Ghare Baire, Aranyer Din Ratri, Charulata, Shakha Proshakha, Jhinder Bandi and Saat Pake Bandha and many more.
