Guwahati: The Election Commission of India on Wednesday announced that the Vice-presidential election will be held on August 6.
The poll, if necessary, will happen on August 6 from 10 am to 5 pm and the votes will be counted on the same day.
The election will be announced on July 5 by the Election Commission. The deadline to submit a nomination is July 19.
The deadline for withdrawal of an application is July 22, and the nomination will be reviewed on July 20.
