Indian Cricket team captain Virat Kohli & his wife actor Anuskha Sharma have donated for Assam and Bihar floods, and also urged other people to help those flood affected states. Both released a statement on Instagram announced that they have pledged to donate to flood relief funds and also urged other people to contribute and help the poor people of Assam and Bihar.
On the Anuskha Sharma Instagram she posted “While our Country is in midst of Coronavirus Pandemic, people of Assam & Bihar are also suffering due to the devastating floods that have affected many lives and livelyhood. While we continue to pray for the people of Assam & Bihar, Virat and I have also pledged to help those in need by supporting these three organisations that have been doing credible work in flood relief & welfare. Till now more than 38 Lakh people have been affected in Bihar due to flood and 56 Lakh have been affected in the state of Assam.
