Virat Kohli Buys Kishore Kumar’s Juhu Plot For His One8 Commune Chain For 5 Yrs

Guwahati: Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli has leased a piece of the late actor-singer Kishore Kumar’s Juhu mansion known as “Gouri Kunj” for a period of five years for his upcoming restaurant.

Virat Kohli owns a chain ‘One8 Commune’, the Instagram bio of which read “Juhu, Mumbai #ComingSoon”. The cricketer has opened resto-bars in Delhi, Kolkata and Pune under the chain.

Online business listings indicate that a restaurant called “B Mumbai” had operated in the Juhu area but has since ceased operations.

It should be mentioned that the plot made headlines a few years ago when the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) issued a notice for development that was not in accordance with the rules.

It had been challenged by the restaurant proprietors, and after that it also fled. Further information on Kohli’s takeover attempt is not currently known.

Kohli is a member of the Indian men’s team competing in the 2022 Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Kohli hammered a stunning half-century after a rough stretch of play in the final game against Hong Kong yesterday.
