Guwahati, 18th September: A primary school in Assam’s Nagaon district has become the center of a tense situation following serious allegations of sexual abuse against a teacher. The troubling incident unfolded at Mahendra Baruah Prathamik Vidyalaya in Nagaon’s Haibargaon.
The accused teacher, identified as Adhar Thakuria, faces allegations of sexually abusing a class 5 girl at the school over an extended period.
The revelation of these allegations led to a heated response from local residents, who took it upon themselves to confront and punish the accused teacher. However, the situation escalated until police intervention was required to restore order.
