VP Jagdeep Dhankhar: Tripura Would Become Hub of Prosperity in Coming Days
Guwahati: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has asserted that northeastern state of Tripura would soon become a centre of prosperity.
This was reiterated by Jagdeep Dhankhar during his first trip to Tripura as Vice President. He visited the state on Tuesday.
Dhankhar remarked that the warmth and affection displayed by the people of Tripura made his first visit to the north-eastern state a memorable one.
The Vice President praised the state’s illustrious past and rich cultural legacy, saying Tripura and other North Eastern states constitute the foundation of India’s Act East Policy.
He said, “Tripura is the land of vibrant culture and glorious history. God has gifted Tripura with scenic beauty and the gift of nature. Mata Tripureswari’s transcendental blessings are there upon the people of Tripura and nothing to fear about any obstacles. Tripura is going to be the hub of prosperity in the coming days for sure.”
Dhankhar urged the kids to uphold fundamental obligations since doing so would make them better citizens.
The seminar on “New Horizon for Educational Development” and the exhibition of Tripura’s historical and cultural heritage were both launched by the vice president.
The Vice President attended the show in company with State Chief Minister Manik Saha.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister Saha said, “Education is the boon for the progress of society, and the current state administration is honestly working to provide kids with quality education. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Tripura is also advancing in the other areas at a comparable rate to that of education.”
Meanwhile, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar worshipped at the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple. He received information about the plan to renovate the temple corridor.
Dhankhar held a meeting with the Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya and other dignitaries to conclude his visit at Raj Bhawan in Agartala.
