Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs, Assam Police arrested two suspected drug peddlers in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district.
The Karbi angling Police launched a search operation at the Khatkhati area of the district and arrested two persons in the connection.
Moreover, the police officials seized around 1.6 kg of suspected Heroin from their possession.
It may be mentioned that the suspected drug peddlers have been arrested from a neighbouring state.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa sarma sharing the news on Twitter wrote, “Continuing #Assam’s war against drugs,@karbianglongpolseized 1.6 kg of heroin at Khatkhati in the morning today. Also arrested two accused from a neighbouring state.”
