Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs in the state, Assam Police has arrested two suspected drug peddlers in Upper Assam’s Jorhat district.
The incident took place in the Titabor town of the distrct.
The arrestees have been identified as Probal Das and Rana Gogoi.
According to reports, a huge quantity of drugs has been recovered from their possession.
However, along with the narcotics, a large quantity of syringes and cash worth thousands of rupees have also been recovered.
It may be mentioned that they are currently being interrogated by the Titabor police and further investigation into the matter is underway.
