War Against Drugs: Four Arrested in Nagaland’s Dimapur
Guwahati: Four suspected drug peddlers have been arrested and seized a huge consignment of drugs in Dimapur district of Nagaland.
The arrested persons were identified as Moses of Chimai village under Senapati district of Manipur district; Paul Humtsoe of Sanis under Wokha district; Martha of Shirong village, Senapati; and Daveikho of Phaipung, Senapati. All are the residents of Dimapur.
The incident took place in the Duncan Bosti area of the district after an operation was launched based on its credible intelligence input.
Based on the input received from the area, the Dimapur Police launched the raid at a suspected apartment.
According to reports, two of the accused were apprehended from the location, while two drug traffickers were apprehended at Khermahal and Sematila Colony of the district.
Meanwhile, one of the arrested persons is a woman.
However, the police recovered 130 grams of brown sugar concealed in 12 soap cases from their possession.
