Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs in the state, Assam police arrested four suspected drug peddlers in Nagaon.
The Anti Narcotic cell while conducting a raid at Kodomtol near Kollong busted a drug racket in the district and arrested four accused after firing. While the other two accused were escaped from the spot.
The police officials recovered cash and drugs from their possession. However, the identification of the accused is yet to be ascertained.
Legal action has been taken and further investigation is underway.
