Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs Assam Police arrested two suspected drug peddlers and seized a huge consignment of drugs in Karbi Anglong district of Assam.
The drug peddlers have been identified as Asukh and S Sila. Both of them is a resident of Sumakdima in Nagaland.
The incident took place in Bokajan town of the district.
According to reports, they have seized 660 gram of drugs which was brought in a Wagoner car without a number plate. The drugs were brought in 51 soap cases.
Moreover, the police officials seized while it was being carried from Dimapur to Guwahati.
The officials further recovered drugs worth Rs 5 crore from both the accused.
It may be mentioned that the drug peddlers have supplied the drugs to the Drugs mafia Baba Hazarika who was apprehended on January 4.
