National Desk, 9th October: A spectacular dog show organized by the Madurai Canine Club in Madurai on October 8 featured an impressive lineup of approximately 300 dogs representing roughly 55 different breeds from the Southern states.
The event showcased both the beauty and talents of these magnificent canines, capturing the hearts of the audience.
Among the highlights were the Indian breeds, including the elegant Rajapalayam, Chippiparai, Kanni, Kombai, and Caravan Hound.
The foreign breeds made a striking appearance as well, with breeds like the Afghan Hound, Fox Terrier, German Shepherd, Dobermann, St Bernard, Rottweiler, Pug, Golden Retriever, Min Pin, Bull Dog, French Bull, and Bull Mastiff gracing the ring.
Throughout the event, these dogs were impeccably groomed and gracefully paraded around the ring, not only showcasing their impressive qualities but also raising awareness about the importance of preserving rare native breeds.
