West Bengal Road Accident: PM announces ex-gratia
Guwahati: Prime minister Narendra Modi announced ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh for the next of kin of those who have lost their lives due to the road accident in Nadia, West Bengal.
According to reports, 18 people killed, and around five got severely injured in a head-on collision between a matador and a truck that was parked on the side of the road.
Pm Modi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each from PMNRF for the next of kin of those who have lost their lives due to the road accident in Nadia, West and ex gratia of Rs 50000 each will be given to the injured.
It may be mentioned that the incident happened due to thick fog and the high speed of the vehicle in the Phulbari area of the district.
