Guwahati: Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin is yet to get the final approval for emergency use as the World Health Organisation said that more clarification is needed.
The Technical Advisory Group for Emergency Use Listing (TAG-EUL) met on October 26, 2021, and agreed that additional clarifications from Bharat Biotech are needed to undertake a final EUL risk-benefit assessment for global use of the vaccine, read an official report from WHO.
The organization further expected to receive the clarifications by the end of this week
