WHO director praises India for reducing number of COVID cases
India has able to contain the spread of coronavirus in recent days as the cases are steadily declining. And for the success the World Health Organization (WHO) has praised the efforts of Indian Health Ministry. Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said “India has done well in controlling the corona virus.”
Tedros further added “This shows us that if we can do these simple public health solutions, we can beat the virus. With vaccines being added, we would even expect more and better outcomes.” India has reported 14,488 discharges and 95 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the total discharges and death toll to 1,05,10,796 and 1,54,918.
