National Desk, 4th February: During a SpiceJet flight from Kolkata to Bagdogra, a female passenger raised allegations of inappropriate behavior by a co-passenger. Despite the reported incident, the woman opted not to file a formal complaint after the accused passenger issued a verbal apology in the presence of CISF officials, as mentioned in the airline’s statement.

SpiceJet officials confirmed that the woman voiced her concerns about the incident during a flight to Bagdogra on January 31. The passengers involved, initially seated in proximity, were relocated to different seats following the woman’s complaint. Upon reaching their destination, both individuals were accompanied by airline staff to meet CISF officers.

The airline spokesperson stated, “The female passenger demanded action against the co-passenger. The accused co-passenger tendered an apology in front of CISF staff, and the female passenger left the airport without filing any written complaint, hindering further investigation by SpiceJet.”
