Guwahati: A woman has been electrocuted to death and her husband sustained injuries in a tragic occurrence that happened in Assam’s Golaghat district.
The deceased has been identified as Simpi Misong, a resident of Bokial.
The woman was allegedly killed when she tried to activate a board’s light.
Her spouse, Debokanta Misong, was severely injured while attempting to save her.
Both the persons were brought by the locals to the Golaghat Civil Hospital for treatment. Simpi was pronounced death at the hospital by the medical staff.
On the other hand, Debokanta is undergoing treatment and doctors have said that his condition is stable now.
However, the body has been kept at the hospital for the post-mortem report.
