Guwahati: A woman was banned from Antwerp Zoo in Belgium after she confessed to having an affair with a Chimpanzee in the zoo.
The woman was banned from the Zoo after the officials noticed that she had been spending “a little too much time” with the specific chimpanzee named Chita.
Later the woman identified to be Adie Timmermans claimed that she spends much time with the chimpanzee because she has an “affair” with the 38-year-old chimpanzee. They talk with each other and they even “blowing kisses” to one another.
The zoo officials stated that this affair is going to be harmful to Chita. The officials claimed that while Chita is busy with the visitor, the other chimpanzees have started to ignore him and do not consider him to be part of the group.
The visitor had been coming to the zoo for the past four years and she stated that the action by the zoo authorities is unfair.
