Guwahati, 3rd August: A woman sustained injuries in a collision between a city bus and her scooter at ABC point on Thursday morning.
According to eyewitnesses, the city bus with registration number ‘AS01 MC 0243’ was recklessly navigating through traffic at a high speed when it collided with the woman’s scooter. The impact of the collision caused the woman to fall to the ground.
Thankfully, passersby and witnesses immediately rushed to her aid. The woman was found with minor injuries on her elbow and legs.
Passengers aboard the bus asserted that the mishap was solely due to the bus driver’s fault.
City police arrived at the scene promptly and arranged for the woman’s transportation to a nearby clinic for medical attention.
As part of the investigation, the city bus involved in the accident has been seized by the police.
