Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a worker was electrocuted while working at a six-lane construction site in Basistha Chariali on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Kuraban Ali, a resident of Goalpara.
He was brought to Guwahati by a contractor named Ramzan Ali to assist on the flyover project at Basistha Chariali.
The deceased was working on road protector of the flyover.
The Basistha Police Station has received a complaint from Kuraban’s family and Ramzan Ali has been arrested in connection with the incident.
