The world’s third-highest mountain peak, Kanchenjunga is now clearly visible from Siliguri. The citizens were spotted enjoying the beautiful view. Several people were spotted clicking pictures from their smartphones and uploading them on social media.
Apart from Siliguri, Kanchenjunga is also visible from Darjeeling and Kurseong. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, a handful of tourists are spotted in the hills. Tour operators and hotel owners are waiting for the situation to get back to normal.
