World Bank approves $300 million loan for Pakistan

The World Bank has approved around $300 million loan help to Pakistan for their climate change issues, health emergency and to manage solid waste to reduce flooding in Pakistani cities. According to reports the World Bank has approved $100 million dollars for Solid Waste Emergency and Efficiency project, another $200 million for Sindh Resilience project.

The World Bank Country Director for Pakistan Najy Benhassine said “Building resilience to natural disasters and health emergencies is an important and urgent agenda in Pakistan, that will help save lives and protect the economy.”
