Guwahati: Indian Taekwondo has selected a girl from Guwahati to represent the country at the upcoming World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship in South Korea.
Moitri Sharma, a North Guwahati native, was chosen in the Cadet individual category.
In addition, Indian Taekwondo has chosen Assam’s Priton Kishor Borah to coach the Indian Taekwondo team. Borah is a Poomsae National Gold Medalist.
It may be mentioned that the World Taekwondo Poomsae Championshop will be held in Goyang, South Korea, from April 21 to April 24, 2022. It is a World Taekwondo sanctioned sport.
