Xbox series X mini-fridge Launched
Those looking for the Xbox Series X-inspired mini-fridge were disappointed on Thursday, as Microsoft’s latest product sold out almost soon after it went on sale. The $99 (approximately Rs. 7,400) product that started as a viral online joke is now a reality. Your favorite beverage may be stored in the fridge for up to a dozen cans. Orders began to be taken on Wednesday through stores all around the world, but they soon sold out. People who were able to purchase the mini-fridge expressed their delight on social media.
Because of the huge demand and little supply, scalpers jumped on the chance. The Series X mini-fridge was widely advertised on eBay, with prices starting at $300 (approximately Rs. 22,449) – three times the original price. According to Gaming Industry 24/7, Xbox marketing head Aaron Greenberg stated that the product is not a limited-edition release and that more stock would be available in early 2022.
Though the Xbox Series X is a popular and tough-to-find gaming system, it’s impossible to foresee the same degree of enthusiasm in its mini-fridge version. Microsoft has stated that the mini-fridge would be available in shops again in December.
The 6-foot, 400-pound Xbox Mini Fridge is a 1:1 scale reproduction of the famous Series X console. It includes LED lighting and design components that are designed to look like the console. There are a couple of shelves in the front for supplies and snacks, as well as a USB outlet for charging electronics. It has a 10L cooler capacity. “We’re striving to deliver the Xbox Mini Fridge to as many fans as possible,” the firm said, adding that “regional availability will continue to increase in 2022.”
