Guwahati: A youth has been arrested by Guwahati Police for physically assaulting a girl.
According to a complaint the girl made, the youth is accused of abusing her physically and making inappropriate physical contact with her.
The girl was returning from work when the incident occurred. The young woman works at a city-based mall.
The arrested youth has been identified as Indra Ghosh. He is a resident of Indrapur in Bhangagarh.
A case has been registered against Ghosh and he is currently being interrogated by the Bhangagarh police.
