Guwahati: As many as four boys including three minors were arrested for spreading terror among locals late at night in Digboi of Assam.
As per reports, one of the youth arrested have been identified as Buddhis Das (20). The other three arrestees are minor under 15-16 years age.
The gang of boys has been going on a rampage in the Digboi locality since late Friday. According to reports, they had shattered a number of windows and doors as well as several cars and homes in the area.
After checking the CCTV footageof the area the police started their search operations to nab the boys. The police finally apprehended the group of boys on Sunday.
The incident was reported from Asia’s first oil city on March 3 when citizens had to suffer violence committed by unnamed unidentified criminals.
According to a CCTV recording, the four youths started throwing stones at automobiles and pick-up vans in the Anandapara area of to Tupla basti in Digboi.
