The Dispur Police seized fake currency notes amounting to Rs 10 lakh from the Six Mile area of Guwahati. A case was registered in this regard and four persons were arrested in connection to the same. Dispur Police Station Officer in Charge (OC) Prafulla Das confirmed the matter to G Plus. As per the official, the counterfeit currency operations were running in Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Path.
As per reports, the four people who have been arrested are named Hamid Ali, Nizamuddin, Nazrul Hussain and Aafzal Rahman.
