11 new COVID positive cases have been detected from Ranipool area, Ranipool bazaar and Sun Pharma plant -II. With these new 11 cases all of the areas have been declared as Containment Zone. The local administration have ordered to close all shops and other commercial plants except essential commodities.
The health department has tested all primary contacts of Sun Pharma employees two days ago and in addition to above, one police personnel deployed at STNM & residing in Tadong bazaar have also found positive for the deadly Coronavirus. Sikkim has 910 total COVID positive cases, 510 have recovered and 1 person have unfortunately died of the virus.
