Guwahati: In yet another heinous case of rape that had surfaced wherein a 13-year-old minor girl was allegedly raped at her residence in Birubari area of Guwahati on Monday afternoon.
The incident was reported at Nizorapara area in Birubari.
According to reports, the minor girl was allegedly raped by the owner of a house she was renting.
The shocking incident occurred when the victim’s parents were outside.
However, the accused landlord has been identified as 49-year-old Diganta Das.
Following the incident, survivour’s family members made the complaint on which a case was registered against Das, who is currently on the run.
Moreover, it is learned that Das had threatened the family to leave the house after the police complaint was filed.
It needs to mention that a manhunt has been launched against the accused by the police officials.
