Guwahati: As many as 40 people were injured and 15 others died on Friday night after a bus collided with a trolley in the Suhagi mountain area of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh .
The incident took place while the bus was on its way to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh from Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh and it took place between 10:30pmto 11pm.
According to reports, the passengers on the bus are the residents of Uttar Pradesh.
Reportedly, twenty of the 40 injured have been sent to a hospital in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh while one of them is critically injured.
“The bus was going from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur. All people on the bus are reportedly the residents of UP,” said Rewa Superintendent of Police (SP) Navneet Bhasin.
