Guwahati: One suspected Pakistani terrorist was killed while another was captured in the Uri Sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
The officials following the incident recovered one AK-47 rifle, two grenades and one communication set from the captured “terror operative”.
The operation took place based on specific information about the presence of suspected terrorists in the Uri Sector. Based on the inputs, the Army launched a joint cordon and search operation in the region and succeeded in nabbing one and killing another.
Officials further informed that four soldiers were injured in the exchange of firing between the two sides.
It may be mentioned that the captured person was allegedly a part of a recent infiltration bid.
