In an successful operation by the joint team of Changlang district police, 171 Bn CRPF and 14th Rajput Regiment apprehended two active UG cadres identified as SS Pvt Wangmon Khimhun and SS Pvt Ranjan Chakma and one overground worker Mr Kamal Chakma during 6 days long operation.
Arms and ammunition recovered from their possession are as under:
1. Chinese made Assualt Rifles: 2 nos
2. Magazine: 9 nos
3. Live ammunition: 239 rounds
4. Live Grenade: 1 no
5. Radio set: 1 no
