2 Arunachal Cops Held With Drugs

Guwahati: Arunachal Pradesh police arrested two police officials belonging to the Indian Reserve Battalion (IRBn) for allegedly being involved in drugs from Itanagar.

According to reports, over 142 grams of narcotic substances were seized from the duo’s possession. They were intercepted at Chandranagar of Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh during delivery of the drugs.

The duo was arrested immediately and the heroin was seized.

The arrestees have been identified as Prem Dorjee and Yom Tape.

Prem Dorjee and Yom Tape are both members of the 4th Indian Reserve Battalion. They are both presently employed at the security cell in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.

Both were found to be in possession of suspected heroin, totaling 142.18 grammes and weighing 88.85 and 53.33 grammes, respectively, when they were searched.
