Guwahati: In a sensational incident, a youth from Dibrugarh district of Assam is said to have died in Haryana.
The youth identified as 20-year-old Rajib Chawasi who was a resident of Tiloibari village in Moran of the district. He was employed with a Haryana-based private enterprise.
The incident occurred in the Panchkula district on June 17. Rajib is said to have slipped and fallen while putting colour to a ten-story structure that was still under construction.
The incident was reported to the police and the body was carried to Haryana by some of his friends from his native village for a post-mortem and other examinations.
Rajib’s body is being brought to his home in Assam.
According to his family members, he was the sole earner of his family after his father’s death. The family has given up all chance of surviving after Rajib’s death. They have also requested financial aid from the state government.
