Guwahati: At least 21 suspected Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested by the Border Security Force (BSF) at Badarpur in Karimganj district of Assam on Wednesday.
According to reports, the arrestees also include Rohingya nationals.
Reportedly, there are nine male and nine female in the group along with three children.
Reports further added that they had arrived in Badarpur from Guwahati two days before.
Meanwhile, the BSF handed over the detained Bangladeshi nationals to the Badarpur police for legal proceedings in the interim.
An investigation to unearth linkages is underway.
