24 hours of wait & watch period, then rescue of tigress in Kaziranga
A tigress which strayed into a house in Baghmari area at Bagori range on Tuesday was successfully rescued by tranquilisation. An operation was carried out by the Kaziranga staffs & forest department which went for more than 24 hours including wait and watch period.
After being rescued the tigress was taken to CWRC center for further care. The tigress was taking shelter in the residence of Prabin Bora from Tuesday. The Civil administration, Police department, NGO’s and many local people help the forest department in rescue of the tigress.
