Four Cinema Hall namely, Urvashi, Vandana, Meghdoot and Apsara based at Guwahati got shut down due to CAA, Lockdown and Night Curfew. After facing severe financial crisis due to the ongoing Pandemic situation, the owner decided to shut down the Cinema Halls.
The Halls will now be in the nostalgic memory of Public in times to come.
According to owner of the Vandana Cinema Hall, after shutting of the theatre they are planning for establishing a commercial-business instead and already construction work is on.
