5 NAB Officials Suspended For Acting ‘Beyond Line Of Duty’ in Manipur
Guwahati: Five Narcotics and Border Affairs (NAB) officials in Manipur were suspended on Monday for allegedly behaving in a disorderly manner and engaging in activities beyond their area of duty.
According to Manipur police, the employees who have been suspended allegedly held two people without any official order or authority from a higher level.
The two were taken to the Mahabali region by NAB agents who treated them badly.
The Chief Minister of Manipur, N Biren Singh expressed his displeasure with the occurrence.
“Unruly behaviour and indiscipline will be rigorously dealt with for any Government servant,” he stated.
