Today, on the basis of secret information, the police of Agartala West Police Station and the police of Battala Outpost Police Station raided the gambling hall and arrested a total of 7 gamblers with around Rs 6,000 in cash and various tidal items. Police have filed various cases against the 7 gamblers and started interrogation.
The Police has started the initial investigation and the Investigating police officer said that such raids will continue in the coming days as well and all the illegal gambling places will be busted soon.
