Guwahati: An eight-person gang of bike lifters from Assam and Meghalaya was arrested by the Jorabat Police.
Four bikes and a master key were taken from the group of thieves by the police.
According to reports, five of the eight thieves are from Meghalaya. Moreover, one bike was found in Meghalaya.
The Jorabat Police claimed that on Sunday and Monday, they conducted raids at numerous locations in Guwahati and Meghalaya in order to apprehend the bike-lifting gang.
The prisoners are currently being held by the police.
