Power and electricity department Minister from Mizoram, R Lalzirliana was seen mopping floors of a hospital on Friday where he was undergoing treatment for COVID-19 along with his wife and son.
The 71 year old leader of the Mizo National Front was seen wearing a hospital gown cleaning the floors with a mop at Zoram Medical College Hospital. The Minister told that he called on the sweeper to clean his room but as the sweeper couldn’t respond to his call, the Minister decided to do the cleaning himself.
Lalzirliana told the reporters that his intension was not to embarrass the nurse or the doctors but want to lead and educate others by setting an example. He further added that he did not keep himself above others for being a Minsiter.
