Dibrugarh: An 11-year-old boy who was reported to have drowned at the Burhidihing river in Upper Assam’s Dibrugarh was recovered dead on Saturday.
The dead body was recovered from Kolowlowa-Derigaon Chapori of the River.
The deceased was identified as Ayushman Dowerah. He was a student of class 5 and a resident of Chowkidinghee.
According to locals, Dowerah had gone missing after he went swimming around 4 pm on Thursday. But, after that, he went missing and people feared that he might have drowned.
