Guwahati: All India Congress Committee (AICC) has announced the name of the candidates for the upcoming by-polls in Assam.
The party nominated Jowel Tudu, Bhadkar Dahal, and Manoranjan Konwar for the three assembly seats namely Gossaigaon, Tamulpur, and Thowra respectively.
Earlier Bhartiya Janta Party had also announced their candidate’s names for the by-election which will be held on October 30.
It may be mentioned that the by-polls will be conducted for five constituencies in Assam.
