PlayStation 5, PS5 Digital Edition Tipped to Be Available for Pre-Order on October 25
On Monday, October 25 at 12 p.m. (noon), the PlayStation 5 and PS5 Digital Edition will be back in stock in India. The pre-order date and time for both the regular and Digital Editions of the PlayStation 5 have been revised on Sony’s online shop ShopAtSC’s FAQs for PlayStation 5 page. The information was also temporarily featured in a banner on the website’s dedicated PS5 page, but it was eventually withdrawn. On the above-mentioned date, the console is expected to be available for pre-order on other e-commerce platforms as well. Other platforms are now listing the PS5 as ‘out of stock.’
On Tuesday, ShopAtSC added a banner to its PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition pages that displayed the pre-order date and time in India. The website has already taken it down at the time of publishing. The FAQs page, on the other hand, still states that pre-orders for the next-gen consoles will begin on October 25, 2021, at “12 noon onwards.” The PS5 was last available for pre-order in India on October 4, and like all prior pre-order days, it sold out in minutes. As a result, if you don’t place your purchase by 12 p.m., the PS5 may run out of stock fast. According to the FAQs page, the PS5 will begin arriving on November 10 based on new pre-orders.
Amazon, Flipkart, Games The Shop, Vijay Sales, Prepaid Gamer Card, Croma, and Game Loot are among the websites that have the console listed without a pre-order date. On the same day, October 25, these platforms are anticipated to launch the PS5 regular edition and digital edition.
The PlayStation 5 was released worldwide in November of last year and in India early this year. The basic edition of the PS5 costs Rs. 49,990, while the Digital Edition costs Rs. 39,990.
