Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs, Assam Police arrested one suspected drug peddler in Guwahati.
The arrestee was identified as Sintumoni Sarma and he is a resident of the Sonkuchi area of Barpeta district.
The Police recovered around 6.91 grams of suspected Heroin from the accused.
Moreover, the police recovered a cash amount of Rs 3950 and seized one mobile phone and one two-wheeler.
An EGPD team from Basistha PS arrested one Sintumoni Sarma of Sonkuchi. A total of 6.91 gms of Heroin, ₹ 3950/- cash, 1 mobile phone & 1 Scooty were recovered from his possession.
