PM Modi purchased ticket to travel on a Metro in Pune
Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Pune on Sunday to inaugurate a number of development projects.
The Prime Minister purchased a Pune Metro ticket to travel from Garware College to Anand Nagar.
However, Modi was seen riding the Metro and engaging with a variety of school students, the most of them were dressed in school uniforms.
According to social media users, the students may have been on their way to school when they met Prime Minister Modi on the Metro.
He further unveiled a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at the Pune Municipal Corporation.
The Prime Minister also unveiled a 32-kilometer leg of the Pune Metro Rail Project. The Prime Minister also revealed and inaugurated a number of other projects in Pune today.
Sharing the news on Twitter, PM Modi wrote, “On board the Pune Metro with my young friends.”
