Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs, Assam Police arrested one person in connection with drug peddling in Kamrup (R) district of the state.
The arrested person was identified as Saddam Hussain.
In an operation against drugs in the Botakuchi area of Rangia and arrested the accused.
The police officials recovered two soap cases filled with suspected heroin, containers filled with drugs.
The police further recovered a total number of 10 syringe from their possession.
Legal action has been initiated and further investigation into the matter is underway.
