Assam: Bomb Blast In Tamulpur, No Casualties
Guwahati: A low-intensity blast has triggered panic in Tamulpur district of Assam on Monday.
The blast occurred along Indo-Bhutan border near Sukanjuli Firing Range at No 1 Paharpur.
As per reports, the blast was triggered by a glitch that occurred during a training session of the 222 no Punjab Regiment of the Indian Army.
A house of one Ananta Ramsivar was reportedly destroyed in the blast. His family members, including five were fortunately saved.
Reports further claimed that a 105 mm smoke bomb rolled across Ramsivar’s roof and landed on his balcony, creating a massive hole.
However, no casualties were reported.
