Guwahati: The body of a man has been recovered from a paddy field in Nagaon district of Assam on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Saidul Islam who is a resident of Dhupguri Pathar Village in Dhing town.
The dead body was recovered from the Baruati village in Dhing.
As per the sources of MyNewsNE, the injury marks on the body have prompted the police to suspect that he has been killed.
According to his wife, he was murdered by a man named Hifzur due to an ongoing dispute over the money of the pond taken on lease.
Severe injury marks were found on the body and a detailed post-mortem report is awaited to reach a conclusion.
It needs to be mentioned that the police have initiated a probe into the matter and further investigation into the matter is underway.
