Guwahati: Assam Police has arrested two Naga persons and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunitions in Sivasagar district of Assam on Thursday.
The arrestees have been identified as Aatok Longni who is a resident from Dimapur and Wetitemjena Ao hails from Naginimora, both situated in Nagaland.
According to reports, the arrest took place in the Bihubor area of the district.
The police officials further seized one .22 pistol, two bullets and one motor bike from their possession.
Meanwhile, both the arrested persons are currently being investigated by the Bihubor Police Officials.
